A pair of NFC South foes kick off Week 3 in a primetime contest on Thursday Night Football, when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Georgia Dome to face the Atlanta Falcons. The clubs have met 41 times, including 24 games since the NFL realigned its divisions in 2002. While the Bucs hold a 21-20 advantage in the all-time series :lupe: since realignment, both teams have 12 wins each. Falcons head coach Mike Smith is 8-4 against Tampa Bay, including a 5-1 record at home.

Top Matchup: Falcons LB Paul Worrilow vs. Bucs RB Bobby Rainey

The NFL's leading tackler (29), Worrilow, could see Rainey and/or Bucs RB Doug Martin, who missed Week 2 and was limited in practice this week, due to a knee injury. While Rainey stepped in admirably for Martin, last Sunday, rushing for 144 yards on 22 carries (6.5 avg.), Worrilow still recalls the success Rainey had against the Falcons in 2013 (30 carries, 163 yards and 2 TDs), but said the key focus is trying to stop the entire Tampa Bay rushing attack. "He kind of had a coming-out game against us last year," Worrilow said of Rainey. "We're going to emphasize stopping the run and being more physical up-front; those are areas we need to improve on for Thursday night."

Roddy White (hamstring) is inactive for Week 3 against the Bucs.
The Falcons had intimated all week that White would suit up, but that changed on Thursday afternoon. White should return for Week 4, but the former iron man has now missed four of the Falcons' past 19 games, and played at less than 100 percent in many more. His absence leaves Julio Jones as a target monster, and Harry Douglas as a legitimate WR3. Devin Hester will run deep routes as the Falcons' No. 3 receiver.

Of course the ATL
I was late making the game thread :mjcry:

Anyway I had a dream about how the game will play out brehs:ohhh:

Falcons start off on fire, looking like 2014 Super Bowl contenders, up double digits :banderas:

Smitty gets conservative, Bucs come back, even take the lead :wow:

Then with under a minute Falcons drive down the field for a 45 yd Matt Bryant FG to win it :blessed:

Sad thing is I ACTUALLY believe that will happen tonight. Tampa is banged up, on the road on a short wk. They're missing key players on D. We should roll, but @Sleepy favorite coach is conditioning us for a close game by saying "65% of all NFL games are within one score". That may be true, but who gives a fukk. Just dominate an opponent with no comeback drama for once. PLEASE

Atlanta 24 Tampa 23

Inactives: Falcons WR Roddy White, Bucs RB Doug Martin & DT Gerald McCoy

@Jutt @James Carter @holidayinn21 @Newzz @KingsnBucs1987 @TheGreatShowtime whassup now? :pacspit:
