How many of you upstanding coli citizens checked out or planning to check out this fine film showing the awesomeness of black inferirority at its most magnificent? I know you guys have been clamoring for a Black Panther movie, but fukk all that the BUTLER is where its at. I also hear that Mammy Oprah puts on a shining performance as well.

Fun Fact, the "butler" is based off of a true story of a black man that was saved from the cotton fields into the benevolent arms of the president, he served under 7 presidents until he retired in 2008. I wonder why...:mjpls:

So as we remember this MLK march anniversary, lets all buy tickets to the Butler, so we can see more images of blacks at their finest, according to whites of course..

just seen the movie. it's really mediocre, but the acting is outstanding. you can tell they just glossed things over and cleaned it up for a PG-13 audience. one day i hope we can get a truly outstanding civil rights film. the last one i could think of was Malcolm X

I thought it was okay as well, but the acting was superb. I remember first seeing it and the Black Panther stuff just had me laughing and shaking my head at the same time... was so cliché and Hollywood. But I did appreciate the overall intention of talking about the civil rights movement mid 20th century era... and even highlighting South Africa there at the end and Reagan..

At work, we have these black history month events and we had a screening of the film. I hadn't seen it since last year so I'm glad I got to see it again. We also got to meet Charles Allen, the son of Eugene Allen, the "real butler" and he did a Q&A session with us which was VERY insightful. Talked about Forrest Whitaker getting his father down to a T... and he told us a lot of stories he heard from the White House. It was a great event.

Here's the tweet my company put out with him, I'm the dude on the left
