Might as well get this thread started in this subforum. So far, my top albums of the year are:

1) Beach House "Bloom"
-
-
-
2) Chairlift "Something"
3) Django Django "Django Django"
4) Lotus Plaza "Spooky Action At A Distance"

Next crack on my radar is Tame Impala's album....just waiting on a leak:smugfavre:

JJ is that blonde chick from Europe with dreads right?

She's doing an album with Doom?

And i got put on to Hundred in the Hands last year or maybe longer ago, but they're like a guilty pleasure or whatever. Really inviting, melodic band. Excited they're putting out an album.

These were my two least favorite songs from their tour last year, so it is not surprising that I am 50/50 on these right now.

Both are definitely growers, but I'm not going to listen to them anymore until I find out whether they are on the album. I don't want to burn myself out of any songs before the album drops.

Really like the job Ben Allen did on the production of Honeycomb though, and I still expect the album to be AOTY contender

Youth by Simian Ghost, Blunderbuss, Blues Funeral, latest Magnetic Fields and Leonard Cohen releaes are my top five.

Burial EP and Sleigh Bells are cool too, nothing has really blown me away so far though.
