It's in the Constitution, if states wanted to amend it they could do so........just like the president has to be 35 years old and have lived in the U.S. for 14 years......amazingly, that is pretty much it............the investigation was done pro-bono or at least with no tax money involved

But why do you think its a stupid rule for the President to have have been born on American territory?? I recognize there some countries that are looser this U.S. requirements, but I'm just trying to figure out why you think that's a bad thing?

I don't know if his findings are true but I know he believes his findings for sure. I like his ballsy attitude though. If Obamas bc wasn't real it won't matter cuz nobody from either side will do anything about it anyway at this stage and that rule has always been up for interpretation, it's never been made clear what natural born citizen actually meant.

Because the rule has no flexibility. What's the difference between a person moving over at 1 years old and someone being born over here? As long as the person has the proper security clearances to hold such a position, I don't see the problem. Now, I definitely think they should be required to be long standing citizens of the US
