A Las Vegas judge has shot down O.J. Simpson’s bid for a new trial. The former football star must finish serving his nine to 33 years in a Nevada State prison for armed robbery and kidnapping in a botched attempt to retrieve some of his personal items from two sports memorabilia dealers in 2007, the Associated Press reports. Simpson was sentenced to prison in 2008 and will not be eligible for parole until he is 70 years old.

Though Simpson was famously acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and her friend in 1995, the now 65-year-old’s efforts to persuade a judge that he should get a new trial were ultimately unsuccessful. Simpson took the stand in May of this year to explain in his own words what happened during the 2007 confrontation in hopes of gaining freedom. The Juice claimed that he had no idea the men who accompanied him to retrieve his items had firearms and that he did not threaten anyone during the incident.

Simpson’s lawyers argued during to the judge that his previous lawyers had mishandled the case, but Clark Country District Court Judge Linda Marie Bell found that the standard required for a new trial was not met.

He was getting 300,000 from his pension every year that the brown family couldn't touch

I would have been on a beach somewhere, selling my story about how i did do the crime and show other men how they can get away wit it also :blessed:

The Juice would have been a icon for divorce men losing there money
