I'm surprised to see that a larger percentage of Hispanics than Black folks are voting for Thompson... Not only is he Black, but he's the 2nd best candidate.

Also, damn@ Weiner getting LESS of the vote than Liu, who is not only a relative unknown but is literally under investigation for electoral fraud. It looks like the end for his political career, but who knows...

Thompson IMO would be a better schools chancellor than mayor, but DeBlasio did the right thing and the obvious thing. His whole campaign was "I'm not Bloomberg 2.0. Quinn is"

I voted for her, too. She's a very good candidate and a stand up person from a personal perspective. She also had NO money compared to Squadron or any of the others, even though she has more relevant experience and a better record. I think De Blasio gave her campaign a huge boost by joining up and having them do events together/endorse each other.
