i always said if he came off the bench it would be best.. better 20 minutes of explosion then 40 minutes of of up and down.

If Amar'e Is Cool With It Im Fine, I'd Be Uneasy With It If It Caused A Conflict, But All Reports Indicate Amar'e Will Do Whatever He Can

I'd Love To See The Talent Spread Out So We Can Take Advantage Of The Weaker 2nd Units In The League

Im Sure Even Off The Bench He'd Get Starter Mins Anyway

I don't think Woodson would do it. He's all about having his best players starting the game if they're healthy. I'm not sure Woodson would do it even to bring Amare back slowly and eventually play into his starting role.

the knicks are better off working amare back in the offense slowly so coming off the bench would be perfect for him, at least initially.

i don't see him spazzing out coming off the bench like AI did way back when. stat seems like a team player that'll try his best to make this work.

:whoa:

Even with all the BS surrounding the Knicks he has been a model individual. He could've easily flipped every thing on Melo when the media was gunning for the him but he never did. He has rolled with the punches (excuse the pun) since he has been here.

i personaly think, coming off the bench will rejuvenate his career...

like i said.. sometime a solid 20 minutes even if your scoring 15 ppg will give you a better edge.. cuz then you can average 55% fg and you defense will be on a higher scale cuz you dont have to save energy for late game situations.

You Gotta Understand Though, Coming Off The Bench Isnt Gonna Make Amar'e A "Bench Player" Per Say

He's Gonna Get Starters Mins, He Just Wont Start The Game

When Amar'e Is Healthy There's No Way He's Playing Just 20 Mins

JR Smith Is Playing 32 Mins Off The Bench Right Now lol

:beli: How about Amare actually tries to work on trying to pass and not being soft as fukk and work on staying in the post and in the paint and fight for rebounds and not always looking to score? Both Melo and Amare should be a really good inside and outside combo to have. It was sorta like when they said that Z-Bo & Rudy couldn't play together, but in NYC with Melo & Amare it is magnified now. Melo this year has shown that he can be a team player, willing passer, fight for rebounds, and actually give full effort on both defense and offense, and now its up to Amare. I don't care if he is injury prone, he should be able to do the same, but too bad Amare is a big fukking softie. :shaq2:
