IMO, Kofi would need a build. He cant go from New Day funny guy to the WWE champ immediately. Well I guess he could, but doesnt seem like it'd go over well.

I think that whole situation made Kofi look like a punk ass bytch. Why? Because Blandy would NEVER talk to Shelton Benjamin like that....nobody would really. Lol. I remember when Shelton and Jericho has that brawl before their Backlash 05 match...Jericho tackled him...Benjamin flipped Jericho off of him so quick and got in a mount position...it was hilarious.
