What is wild to me is from that final 8, all of them dudes are still wrestling in one place or another 10 years later. CAWdy, Orton, Jerikkko, Ziggler, Sheamus, Miz & Jack Thwagger. Big Show is the only one who I guess is technically "retired".

I was rewatching because i actually love the ending. It became a 10 minute one on one match between jericho and sheamus on some “you wanna go?” Type shyt, and the stakes were high of course. All my favorite rumbles are like that, like the one taker won afew years earlier where it was him and HBK for a while at the end iirc
I actually appreciated kid favorite / in shape big show. The opening match of that card with him, champion dbry and hall of pain mark was dopeAlmost forgot about that Sheamus push

Thought this was going to be a Rob Conway match when I opened the thread.
I thought this was going to be Grandmaster Sexay's much anticipated return.
I think this might be worse because the crowd was really hot...rumble pops are THE easiest pop to get, and they seemed both confused and uninterested at once....it was shockingly bad

I remember first seeing his gimmick change on Heat and my goodness you can legit hear clear convos in the crowd, and it didn’t help that his theme had a lull in it where you could hear pure silence
