Now that we're serious, I am done with clubbing but she is not

We live 45 minutes apart and we only see each other on the weekends - every weekend for over two years. At first we were out there partying with our still single somewhat ratchet friends but I noticed a trend, every time we got into arguments it was becuase we'd be out and one of us would do something like look at somebody or hug an old "friend".

Going out with a bunch of drunk females is the WORST. Maybe you superthug Coli niqqas just snap and they all stand at attention but with me it's very similar to babysitting a bunch of mentally challenged children.. in a club full of idiots.

Eventually I said "fukc the dumb sh:t" and fell back from the club scene. She rocks with me for months on end just sitting around my place, going to movies, and enjoying ourselves but every now and then a friend of hers gets in her ear about missing the old days and she tries to drag me out to a club.


I guess what I'm saying is: I used to go to the club to look for puzzy. Take that out of the equation and I have no desire to be there. Spending $30 for a six pack of Bud? Pop rap? Silly people everywhere? Acting like I am not looking at all the azz on display?

Like you said, it's every now and then...it doesn't sound like she's going out every weekend. I don't think it's too much to ask if it's just once in a while. Personally, I don't like clubs, but if my s.o. still enjoyed it and wanted to go from time to time, then I'd suck it up and just go.
