I feel like I'm going to go into depression until next season starts. Fans of good football teams chime in, is this what you feel like after your team gets knocked out? The woulda shoulda coulda for the next half year?? :why:

Only playoffs Ls that stick with me is when we lose to the steelers or a player I hate like Peyton

After that giants loss last year I was depressed til after the superbowl, but once the combine came and then the draft it starts getting exciting again. Them next couple of months is gonna be hell but when that first preseason game starts its on.

your depression stems from the fact that you know the seahawks arent that good, and you arent particularly excited about the future. The seahawks were fixin to get their brains beat out in the first round, if not for rg3's knee snappin off.

People are fans of various teams. If you're in Seattle you also got the Blazers and the Sounders in March.

Usually people are like :yeshrug: and move on to the next team who's in season.

Or be like me and root for the team but not get all serius with it, cause no one here actually has a proper connection to some multimillionaires and a massive organization.

I follow the Sounders casually, don't watch baseball and won't follow bball until Sonics come back. Prob why this wait will be harder, not much else to care about. Luckily I'm a huge MMA fan and that's all year around.

Seattle has the brightest future of almost any team in the league. Gonna be a super bowl contender for years to come.

Why you mad though?

Its crushing to invest energy and emotions on a goal and fall short. But, yes, the sun will rise once again and you will be OK. Remember the game when Romo dropped the snap on the extra-point? SEA won that playoff game. Think how much that play crushed the Cowboys and their fan base.

I was really cheering for SEA to beat ATL and when they scored to go up 28-27 that was the best thing I have seen in a long time and then, without warning, ATL still wins at the end. Crushing. But, being a fan means that you get over it and move on and invest that same amount of energy and emotion next season. SEA is going to be good for a long time.
