Congrats, D-Backs. Well earned, well-deserved victory.

Baseball is such a crazy sport. Two years straight, the Phillies caught fire WHEN they needed to....even though they ultimately lost the big one, this team went to the NLCS two years straight from the wild card position. Aside from outright being dominant from wire to wire, you can't ask for more from a squad during the postseason, bats and arms getting hot at the right time.

Arizona this year is what the Phillies were last year: horrendous most of the year, caught fire late and rode it all the way to the WS.

This AZ/TX series should have plenty of firepower.

Hoping for a good World Series

everyone loves parity and more playoff teams til they get it though, but this is the outcome when you cater to a country that HATES regular season stuff. Even those who complained about the byes and the playoff format would suggest adding 2 more teams. The format is jacked, but unfortunately they don't wanna go back since all you need to convince people that a game is life or death is slapping "postseason" on it.

Arizona is light on superstars, but Corbin Carroll can make a major name out of himself and it would benefit everyone if he shows out. Neither are small market teams and the Rangers had the most all-stars of any team and spend big time. These two franchises just happen to be more nondescript historically. It's like a Titans vs Panthers Superbowl.

Now I watched an 83 win St. Louis Cardinals team win the World Series. The 2000 NY Yankees won 87 games and lost 14 of 17 games I think and backed in. They just caught fire again after the fact.

I have more joy watching a Jags vs Titans pre-season game so fawk this sport it's for the wyt people anyway.

The Sixers will probably fail to make the playoffs (after they trade Embiid for Evan Fournier's lawn mower) and I'll still feel better about that sport

So yeah just came here to say fukk baseball forever and Merry Christmas
