WWE fan favourite Daniel Bryan cleared by several doctors for wrestling return after two-year absence, according to wife Brie Bella

I read the article and I can't figure out if it's duck tales or not, I'm also very drunk so if someone posted this before feel free to delete it mods.

I don't think the article is trolling. He's been cleared by doctors...that doesn't mean the WWE has cleared him. It's not "real" sports where you can just go in when you're healthy. If the WWE doesn't want you to wrestle, then you don't wrestle for them

The Sun are "legit" in the sense that they're not some random internet site and they're a newspaper that's been around since '64 and owned by Rupert Murdoch (same guy who owns FOX, therefore FOX News and Sky)

From what I understand he's been cleared by other doctors but not WWE doctors. TBH, I don't think the WWE is keeping him out of the ring for his health so much as to cover their own assets. They're in the middle of a pretty big lawsuit by ex-WWE wrestlers for concussion related injuries /illnesses so it would be a majorly bad look to let a guy who is, rightly or wrongly, known for having concussion related trauma multiple times on their watch back in their ring. Sucks for us and for DB (assuming he is healthy enough to go) but I can't lie and say that I don't understand them not taking the chance given the circumstances.

They are going to have to make a decision one way or the other when his contract is up though because dude seems determined to wrestle again and if WWE won't let him, no doubt he'll find a promotion who will (and probably for a nice chunk of change too).

If you want to embed pictures just type in "how to embed a photo on thecoli" in your Google search bar and tell me what's the very first result you find. You don't need to rejoin to figure out how this place works. It's not rocket science.

I found the coli in September when I wanted to see if there was a discussion thread on Dogg Food on the internet because I wanted to see why it wasn't talked about as much as the other Death Row albums. I googled "Dogg Food discussion" and thecoli is legit one of the first 5 sources you'll find. I stuck around when I found a thread in the locker room where dudes were talking about fukked up shyt they'd done to women. I couldn't register until last month because registrations were closed so I kept reading. I'm a third year law student in a country where the Dutch imposed their legal system and the English came afterwards and their legal system and then a white minority came through and imposed some racist ass legislation and now there's this uber liberal constitutional discourse that doesn't really solve anything. Everything I deal with on a daily basis is about context. Yeah, this is not really "news". Bryan has talked about this whole process a couple of times already and that article just tells the same stories but from Brie's POV.

Basically, every doctor he's gone to says he's "fine", or I guess well enough to wrestle like any other performer. He's been doing new treatments and taking new tests and he's passing them with flying colors. But none of that matters if WWE's doctor, Joseph Maroon, doesn't clear him to wrestle. And in Bryan's case is not about his actual health but more about the concussion lawsuit WWE has against them right now and the PR backlash that could happen if something happens to DB once he wrestles again in a WWE ring.

None of this is to say Bryan is 100% healthy, I think his concussion history shows us that there's no way his brain is completely OK. But the same can be said about a whole bunch of wrestlers that are working today in a full schedule, so the fact that he's being cleared by everyone just means he's in a similar condition than most current wrestlers, therefore he should be able to work again.

His contract is up in September 2018 and Bryan has said countless times now that unless there's a test that shows he's in danger, he's going to wrestle again. If WWE doesn't clear him and his contract expires, he's said he'll work overseas and the indys.
