Was the dude not gay all before? Have you not been using his music as the background when ur with chicks? Have you "fans" not been going to sleep listeining to his music in ur earphones at night? Are you afraid his "gayness" has somehow crept into you? If so it's already too late...I guess ur gay now. And ur gay if you continue to listen, right?
Yep, listening to music makes you gay....it goes in an alters ur brain makeup & or ur DNA makeup and makes u start liking men sexually. I'm guessing this is a new scientific discovery?
But what's really different now other than what YOU now perceive him to be?
Maybe he coulda kept it to himself a while, but in this day of camera phones, gossip sites, etc., he wouldnt last long once he started releasing albums/vids became somewhat of a household face/name. There's a whole world outside the net who has no clue who this dude is yet.
All you know now is what he has told you, and all you know about every other artist is what they DONT tell you. Luther Vandross and Freddie Jackson never said they were gay, but they never denied it....but you knew it just from hearing them speak or watching them. Fact is, who cares?....they were singing great songs about WOMEN. Straight men & straight women got married to, had sex to, etc their songs for years.
Alot of these dudes who are so free expressing themselves, and free in their mind/thinking, it results in them being really vivid & open writers and not having any inhibitions or hang ups and they flow creatively on a different level. These dudes can write a whole song about a flower and not feel soft...you see it as great/deep song lyrics, u admire the creativity, but you dont see where its coming from. I'm not saying you have to be gay to be a great, expressive artist, but there's enough of them out there in the entertainment biz to make a point for what I'm saying. At the end of the day, the world is wide open if you choose to see it that way, and "gay" is a human created label for something that exist in nature among both humans AND animals(Google it) and always has existed.
You interpret music, songs however you want to. Everyone hears it and applies it differently, some songs remind you of a place u where, or a person u loved at the time, etc. but it's all ur interpretation. I understand the initial shock, but for me, as long as he's not singing about men in the lyrics, I don't care.
Nobodys music is 100% reality anyway. It's just creative art.
