A broad who marries a Mafia lifer who acts like she’s so ashamed while taking his blood money every turn. Her only real issue with her husband’s murder & mayhem is the other bytches he entertains. She attempts to have affairs but comes running back home with her tail between her legs when she realizes no other man (outside of Furio) is willing to entertain long term once the nut is busted. She has no discernible skills nor talent yet she feels as if the world is owed to her

She’s a great homemaker. But you are right, she is self absorbed and a hypocrite. I remember when she was jealous of p*ssy’s wife new found independence.
She was also jealous when meadow’s friend got her life together and was going to Medical School.

I wouldn't put Skyler anywhere near Carmela just based on the fact that Carmela knew what she was getting into.
She was around those types of guys and knew what marrying Tony would entail. And still wanted to act like she was above it all and/or appalled at Tony's behavior.
The writers didn't write Skyler very well but she married a square school teacher that became a drug lord. So I can give her a lot more leeway than Carmela.
