A new trend among young women is growing right underneath their shoulders: armpit hair.
What was traditionally seen as unclean, unkempt or unladylike by the masses has been reclaimed in the name of womanhood and radical self love. Of course magazines have highlighted celebs such as Madonna and Miley Cyrus show off their hair as a means to shock fight traditional beauty standards. However, the organic beginnings of this movement started with regular women who were tired of maintaining a rigid status quo and proudly took to the web to make a statement.
