Shouldn't' be hard to find a replacement. SD is probably one of the more desirable spots for GM's and coaches right now. Young team with tons of talent on both sides of the ball. They have the 11th pick in a draft loaded with talent at positions of need. No AJ Smith to scare of anybody either.

Just read they hired Ron Wolf (90's Packers GM) as a consultant in charge of looking for the right GM and coach. Contender next year.

You're the first person I hear to say the draft is loaded. Although I think people overstate the lameness of this draft based on the lack of QB's, what positions are stacked? I know there's some good LB's and dt's, but what else?

Supposedly the main source of talent this year will be in the trenches on both sides. That and LBs like you said.
