North Korea Releases Video Of Paratrooper Attack On South Korea

Latest video shows total North Korean domination in a three day unification war scenario

A new video published by Uriminzokkiri shows how South Korea will be occupied within three days by North Korean forces, and U.S. military bases in the Pacific Ocean “wiped out”.

Portraying a battle plan for a “Unification War” scenario, the latest North Korean propaganda video takes a day-by-day look at how the Korean People’s Army will achieve an absolute victory of South Korea in just three days.

“On the first day, once the order is given, the Korean People’s Army will fire 240mm Multiple Rocket Launchers, 250,000 medium / long range ballistic missiles, and 1000 surface-to-surface missiles for the first 30 minutes towards South Korea and U.S. combined bases, like a shower from the heavens.”

“South Korean and U.S. combined air forces will be in a panic, without even one plane having taken off.”

Meanwhile, 50,000 Special forces infantryman will “make a surprise attack on South Korea and U.S. combined air force bases, naval bases, missile bases and other power plants.” Next, the video shows how North Korean forces will capture the 150,000 Americans currently living in South Korea, as “prisoners of war.”

On day two of the “Unification War”, the video shows how 10,500 North Korean paratroopers will enter Seoul by air, dropped from Korean People’s Air Force aircraft flying at an altitude of 80m. Simultaneously, “4,600 tanks and 3,000 armored cars will head to South Korea” and “infantry troops will approach” to “sweet them out”.

“Of course, right after the War has began, we will strike the U.S. pacific ocean bases and wipe them out”, the narrative goes on to say.

On the third day, the video shows how South Korean citizens will be in a “state of confusion without any food supply, water supply, communications network, and traffic network.” But fortunately, North Korean forces will “occupy South Korea and make stability operations, such as restoring provision systems.”

“Like this, we have a Unification War scenario that will be finished in just 3 days.”

The video ends by noting that, “Even though the U.S. keeps practicing the invasion of North Korea scenario with computer simulations, they are trembling with fear and can’t open the scenario to the public.”

While the propaganda video might seem absurd to many, North Korean forces do in fact possess many of the capabilities detailed within the clip. However, the video shows a particularly one-sided account of potential events, making little reference to what would likely be significant U.S. and Republic of Korea defense and counter-attack capabilities,

Over the past several weeks, North Korea’s Uriminzokkiri platform has published multiple videos portraying attacks on U.S. cities, military bases, and even President Barack Obama. The videos have appeared simultaneous to a general increase in threats towards South Korea and the U.S. following international condemnation of Pyongyang’s third nuclear test and December rocket launch.

Uriminzokkiri is one part of the North Korean propaganda apparatus, and is notable for its role on social media, which includes a Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube site. On top of the outlandish video released two weeks ago, it has produced numerous crude video games that allow users to perform violent acts against top South Korean and U.S.
politicians.
