Me and others last summer told you she had next and would blow up. Will be one of the bigger artists this year and be the next long term artist for the generation...Lets not do the whole "I haven't heard alot or any songs from her " cause yalll stay wrong about every prediction.

She been cosigned by legends already like Mariah, Janet, and Anita Baker and has been praised for her work ethic.

Ain't obsessed with being on social media 24/7 so you know how those Kendrick/Beyonce types be already, they don't play no games.

The infrastructure is there. All that’s missing is a hit.

Yep I am curious to see how the songwriting and production goes for the upcoming album. She said months back that it would be New Orleans focused. That is where she grew up before she moved to Houston after Katrina. But she said its definitely gonna be a big New Orleans influence and I hope it didn't change.

I don't want no dumb producers to mess it up by treating it like they are working with one of the wack rappers

Queen. :wub::wub::wub:

She has a song with Sam Smith coming out tonight. He always makes hits.

Yeah lol i don't know if I will end up liking that song just skeptical of features with white poppy artists being any good. I'm more excited for her more black songs.

Yeah I think her work ethic will take her far.

Dark skinned girls seeing her success or potential success will also help with self esteem alot in this social media age. I can see labels also trying to get more talented dark skinned girls. She was held back in the group so she will have a rocky start but she came from a gospel background like alot of these Black American stars so she gonna reteach herself real fast.

The coli is mad immature.

Anyway she is dating a Black guy now. I'm talking about music and future career and you goofballs talking about white boys. Even talking about how fine she looks on that cover would be what i would normally expect not to sit back with tea wondering if she with a white guy

I want whatever will make her popping. Further into her career when she's established she can make the kind of music that she wants.

but we in the urban era. pop died out. her recent songs like waves and the afrobeat song also say her team realizes that and i think she is in a unique space where she is going reverse. usually artists go from urban to pop but she was in a real poppy group so she already has a pop audience so she is getting to be really urban. this sam smith song could just be extra temporary promo maybe to get the uk market
