The anti-racism "movement" is a scam. :manny:

I didn't watch the clip and don't care, but Ibram X. Kendi, Robin DiAngelo and others in this field are scam artists who are getting their comeuppance.

NGL tho, @Voice of Reason constantly and the AI behind Nap constantly shyt on this woman yet also constantly share clips from her show. :dead:

The first book, Stamped from The Beginning is dense and extra scholarly but it talks about how the laws of this country were written purely as anti-black. I dont personally believe that at all, but fine. He makes a great case for it. The second book is written for corporate wokeness.

I worked at the university he opened his first center and it was the same critcisms as the BU one. Dr. Kendi is just a weirdo.

Huh :dahell:

How don't you believe this?

"To uphold white supremacy" was literally written into the constitution of states.

where?

Now that doesn’t mean that slavery wasn’t in the mind of the authors, it obviously was.

As was ensuring wealthy men had the power to pass laws, restricting the power of women to vote, and others.

Also a lot of states allowed all races of men to vote from the inception.

and for me, being only concerned with race ignores the other cisms in our laws, and in Dr. Kendi’s mind, elite black people should make the decisions for all black people.

I said states :dahell:

The people that created the Alabama constitution explicitly said that it was meant to uphold White supremacy.

They just got rid of the language last year in 2022. 121 years later.

Plus other states flat out banned Black people

That’s a few states. Not all states had that in their constitutions.

But again, it wasn’t only slavery/race restrictions written to state laws. A lot of states barred non-property owning people from voting and becoming elected officials.
