If you ride with a system that hard...more power to you. However some of us don't give a sh1t and aren't loyal to one console anymore. A n1gga like me has owned all major consoles the last 2 gens and couldn't be a happier gamer. I realized I wasn't a fanboy anymore (or at least the fanboy was dying) back in 99 when I first got my hands on a sega dreamcast controller. In those days I was die hard Nintendo fanboy and although I owned a genesis it was only because it was given to me. I never asked for any games for it nor gave it much attention. To be honest with you, I don't even remember what I did with it. Secretly I did love games like Shinobi, altered beast, and streets of rage 2. I would play these at my homies house tho. I tried to be but I couldn't deny the swag inside...

I remember actually trading in my n64 to go towards a dreamcast... I still can't believe I went through with it. The dreamcast also marked the first console that I myself purchased. So many glorious moments that console brought me, I thank sega for slapping the fanboy out of me.

I didn't have as much of a problem because the only things I asked for was videogame systems as a kid
So I had a Master System and NES
SNES but no genesis at first since a bunch of friends had them.. eventaully I got one too
PS1.. N64... Dreamcast.. Ps2.. Xbox..gamecube.. x360..ps3..wii.. I've em all
I still have my superscope 6

Yea it really doesn't make sense. I'd like someone really smart to do a case study on that and give me the lowdown, cause those dudes were WAY ahead of the game w/ the Dreamcast.

i was a fanboy until i copped that PS1 and had the N64 at the same time (two of my favorite systems looking back). I know alot of folks straight chose one or the other but I had both and realized the joy of being a real gamer, not a brand name zombie.

As far as current gen, PS3 was my main system but I had some real fun on the wii too, i know they had alot of shovel-ware but it was honestly pretty easy to avoid and they had a handful of genuinely dope games too. I didn't get a 360 but my cousin did and the shyt is dope.

As far as next gen, Im gonna cop wii-u when they drop Zelda or the Xenoblade sequel, but im not in a rush. Im gonna cop either PS4 or 720 too, but not on release, I will wait and see which one appeals to me more. Im very interested to see how they differentiate from each other.
