First off I understand, its week 1, 1 week, yes. But last week was crazy. I didn't really take notice until I went on my fantasy league to recap the 1st weeks results. Every team minus 1 in my 14 team league i commish scored over 100 pts. In the 4 years of our league its rare for half the teams to even break 100. Then I payed close attention to the scores and sought what records were broken
With the high offensive output. My question to you my Coli brehs is; Is this a sign of things to come? Has the league gone too far with creating rules to favor offense? Is it a conspiracy to get more people to watch higher ratings?
- 791 pts were scored. A record for week 1 and 2nd all-time
- 49.4 pts averaged per game, a record. I wish I could go back and take overs on the parley cards
- Nine quarterbacks threw for at least 300 yards, and that's not even including Carson Palmer (297 yards), Joe Flacco (299) and Matt Ryan (299) who came close.
- This is also with the lowest average age for starting QBs in league history
With the high offensive output. My question to you my Coli brehs is; Is this a sign of things to come? Has the league gone too far with creating rules to favor offense? Is it a conspiracy to get more people to watch higher ratings?
