I liked this Boomer Ass John Wick more than I thought I would. Nice little entertaining action flick, with a bit of laughs, a little cringe, great loud music. All around great action flick.

Idk why but I kept waiting for a Sam Jackson cameo. The whole movie had his idk how to call it...his style?

About Rza. Man his voice tone :ohlawd:I knew it was him from the first muffled grunt through that radio. Reminded me of his monologue in Repo Men. He should become a singer or a rapper.

That triple kill :banderas:

It's been a long time since a movie scene got me geeking like that.

Yup, also like you mentioned I thought the soundtrack was really good too, one of those movies that has the perfect use of music that shouldn’t work in certain scenes but just does lol, like the Louis Armstrong scene

edit: didn’t even see the bolded line lol

Yeah. I said cringe for lacking the English word. I mean as in when a pun for example is so cheesy and lame that is funny and works. Same with the music. Over the top and unfitting but fit perfectly.

Saul, Doc Brown and RZA blammed on those Russians something serious :bustback:
I was mentally biting my nails hoping nothing would happen to Doc :damn:

I actually went into this one with low expectations. Back to the theater for the first time in a long time...why not check it out. I had way more fun with it since it never took itself too seriously, there was no identity crisis, and unlike Hardcore Henry, Odenkirk brought a lot of charm and actually made me root for the protagonist.

The action was brutal yet fun, and some of the sequences in this reminded me of Edgar Wright’s work in ways. I also agree with others in this thread, the soundtrack during the montages was :ahh:. This was like John Wick meets A History of Violence. Odenkirk whooping ass in action flicks is a sight I need to see more of. :banderas:
