I don't know what it is, but whenever I watch it, shyt has me thinking about yesteryear. The situations, the music, the narration...it's all a ridiculously perfect storm that always makes you relive a similar moment from your past.

I just watched the one where Winnie is acting all funny towards Kevin, hanging with older kids, and breaks her leg in a car wreck. Kevin rushes to see her, but she doesn't wanna see him. Of course he hangs around, climbs up and is staring into her window. She looks over, and he says/mouths "I Love You"...she looks back, smiles and says the same, as the seemingly perfect song (as always) plays in the background.

shyt had me all :to: and shyt. Such a good show.

One of my fav shows of all time. That show alone makes Netflix more than worth what they charge, seeing as though we will never see a dvd/bluray release of it.

South Philly...all day everyday!
One of my fav shows of all time. That show alone makes Netflix more than worth what they charge, seeing as though we will never see a dvd/bluray release of it.

We won't see a dvd/blu ray because of the music rights issues...does netflix show the original shows with the original music cues...and UNCUT? Because back when the show was airing, commercials were shorter and on every syndication now, they are cutting scenes....but the still have the original music cues

I downloaded the torrents of all the seasons on a tv torrent site. They didnt have the same episodes from all the public torrent trackers...someone at the site put alot of work into reconstructing the episodes from different syndications on different networks to make them uncut, and with the original music cues.

I made my own dvd set off of that. If someone can confirm netflix has the original music cues, full episodes, and no logos...ill go subscribe right now so i can rip them and make another dvd set :manny:

Another show that suffered from music rights issues was Tales From The Darkside..I watched the show religiously. I was excited when they came on DVD...I bought the first season...came home, started watching, and was hearing cheesy ass synthesizers :wtf: i took that shyt back, got my store credit, got some more blank dvd's, downloaded the whole series and burnt them :birdman:
