Jonathan Vilma brief adds whistleblower email from Mike Cerullo -- report - ESPN

So Vilma said that it was Mike Cerullo. Now its a proven fact. here is the email, according to profootball talk

"So I have info on Saints Joe Vitt Lying to your NFL Investigators on Bounties from 2010, along with proof!!! I was there, in the cover up meetings, with players and Joe, I love the NFL and want to work there again, but I am afraid if I tell thge [sic] truth I will never coach again in NFL, But I was fired for a situation that the Saints encourage," the email reads, according to the website. "All I want is a Job back in the NFL as a QC Coach anywhere, so If talking to you jepodizes [sic] that I will have to get back to you, but The Saints are a Dirty Organization. Contact me"

Peter Ginsberg, Vilma's attorney, reportedly says in a declaration that the NFL produced a copy of the email on Oct. 23, 2012, but that the league allegedly deleted Aiello's response to Cerullo. :whoo:

Imagine if they promised that dude anything for the info.

I'm so sick of hearing about this, The damage has obviously been done by the looks of that defense. A shame we keep hearing about this shyt, but somehow spygate was swept under the rug by the same people.

Spygate was not about the intent to injure.

Big difference in a sport where they have a class action suit hanging over their head about player safety.

I think the whole Bounty shyt is overblown as well.

If the intent was to injure or knock someone out of the game with a LEGAL hit, then so fukking what!

no Saints players were fined for illegal hits during that period, so this whole thing is a bunch of BS to make the NFL look like they are concerned about player safety (like we forgot about them looking into 18 games :rudy: )

If Greg Williams was setting up a pot/bounty to intentionally go at players knees or head or hit someone late and shyt, that is a whole other issue and THAT IS A PROBLEM. However that wasn't the case.

The team/coaches shouldn't be paying players extra incentive to knock somone out the game legitimately but if it were players doing it, I have no issues.

If Pat Willis gave 10 stacks to anyone on our Defense who knocked Fitz out of the game (legally) as an incentive, I don't see any issue with that.

Patrick Willis is a man of character who would never pull that shyt, he's not some dirtbag from the U.

My point is that if he did, I don't see anything wrong with that. Football is a game of hitting/violence whether people like it or not. And cats that get hit hard will get hurt. If you do it LEGALLY with a legal hit, I have no problem with it.

And please believe that players have little pools going for a variety of shyt on game days. This whole thing is some bullshyt.

so Patrick Willis is out there doing wrap up tackles, and making sure people go down softly? i mean what is the purpose of delivering a big hit? isent it the point to cause pain and intimidation?

The D (where it's so cold)
Mike Cerullo comes off like a scorned bytch with this snitchin. Dude clearly doesn't give a shyt about player safety he just wanted some payback for being fired by the Saints, he was more worried about his ratfink ass ratting getting back to anyone more than anything. Well, he's done now dude will be blackballed by the NFL.

nikka please, Spygate was a way bigger deal... Belli is a known cheater but when he gets caught in the midst of a scandal the investigation is wrapped up in record time and the evidence is literally destroyed by a commissioner that is known to not stand for shyt like that. If that don't sound like bullshyt to you than I don't know what to tell u

:manny: I don't give a shyt. I just want them to go back to obscurity and give up that playoff spot they were getting almost every year.

Oh he's doing that, he's just not putting up some stacks to give a person a concussion or have them carted off the field with a legitimate injury.

Hitting hard and targetting injuries is two different things
