HBO's Boardwalk Empire actually have Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Arnold Rothstein, Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Siegel, etc. Many great characters in this show
Finale Season got me heated cause they rushed that shyt. HBO fukked up for ruining classic

Y’all need to watch Gomorrah on Netflix if you haven’t.
boardwalk empire was...ok...too many plot lines and characters that were not interesting for my taste. I found myself watching an hour episode to catch the 5 mins about Lucky or Capone and instead I’m watching Nucky’s stupid wife talk about abortions and periods.
Masseria was an excellent character, so was Lucky and Capone. Could’ve trimmed a lot of fat on that show.

He had the perfect actor to play him..De Niro was on a legendary run too. I suppose he didn’t wanna make another pure gangster movie after Scarface so he went with a different narrative
