No Man's Sky (PC, Xbox One, Switch, PS4, PS VR2)

I still want to play this but everything I've read said it's just a repetitive dull grind despite all the updates.

Honestly breh, when I had this game I didn't mind the grind. There were things I hated tho that really annoyed me. Like the fact that I couldn't back track to a planet that had all the good shyt to mine.

But on another note, there's been times I'd light a spliff and just explorer. Even if the game was trash, there was something dope about going to a place that was original. I still watch some of my video saves on PS4 from the good planets. And also fukking with the animals was cool.

The shytty part was the repetitiveness. If the game has more variety in it, I definitely think its now finally worth it. Still have no idea if they will handle third person right, but if you into exploring and just taking your time with a game, no pressure, you should enjoy it now.

I actually uninstalled it to make room for other games that I truly didn't give a fukk about, think I'm going to finally download it again.

Honestly, I'm impressed

Even if this ends up just being okay, how many devs just abandon their games after release? They did right by their fans and stuck with it with free updates after two years. That's worth something IMO

Space battles
Can just cruise around in your ship

So they finally added the feature they claimed was in the game to begin with

nah fukk that... i don't care what system it's on. this is the best shyt i have damn near ever seen, considering the time we live in. where games have shyt on the disc and they still charge you day 1 for it.. every dlc is $20.. the now got loot boxes.. single player games charging real money to unlock shyt.. rockstar making 1 billion off a game and still hitting nikkas in they pockets every which way.. 2k.. ubisoft.. ea.. microsoft.. sony... all of them


this game came out in august 2016.. it is now august 2018.. not one single thing in this game cost anymore money than when you bought the game. every single update, dlc, whatever you wanna call it. this small ass studio, with backing of course, is out here still working HARD on this game, 2 years later. not the sequel... not the $40 season pass to get shyt they promised... nah they just giving you all this shyt just cause they said they would

i commend them for what they are doing. and it's A LOT more than what was promised.. they could have said fukk y'all and dipped out a long time ago

Nah it's not really anything to commend them for. They pretty much had to do this to save their game development lives. After all those lies they told to make all that money upfront, this was their only choice.

And there are plenty of games with continued free support, a lot of these games release early access and are honest about the state of their games, then they reward their early fans with free content over time. That's what NMS should have been.
