No HL Controversy over Airport Scanner shake up?

WHAT WAS UP WITH THE AIRPORT SCANNER STUFF?
Porno scanner, naked scanner, whatever the sensationalist media wants to call them are getting the heave ho. First of all, there was no nudity. Unless your definition of nude is a computer generated image of the contours of your body. Second, no one wants to see the average fat, ugly, pale American traveler naked. 
Third, screeners HATED these machines because co-workers of various IQ levels would identify what they perceived to be anomalies to often frustrating results. 
The Millimeter Wave machines are much better with their cardboard cut out body image and they identify possible threats for you. 
Good riddance to bad rubbish.

i had to go through 2 of these recently when i traveled and literally it took 3 seconds, no bother at all
but still:
They weren't of that quality. Close, but not quite.
you get a lot of radiation from flying. a NY-LA flight is like 2 chest x-ray's
