I've heard this talking point a few times on this forum and how black boys are getting left behind, but the numbers don't add up.
I'm not a woman hater and interested to see where things lie 30 years from now, but currently men still outpace women.
Median and average earnings for men are higher across all races. If we're only talking about black folks, black men still out earn black women. Now you might say it's not by much, which is true, but look at the incarceration rates. Despite having the highest incarceration rate, black men still make more on average than black women.Then take a look at black college graduates. There are less College educated Black men than black women
Also how many women want a provider, instead of working 40+ hrs till they 67?
More women are going to College which is great, but that doesn't always mean success. I knew folks with biology degrees working at Walmart. It depends on the degree. You also forget the cost is increasing and the debt is burdensome for a lot of people.

Young women are outperforming young men in almost every facet of society. Earning, college graduation, employment rates, staying out of jail/prison, making businesses etc.
