Even so, Sony hasn't had much of an advantage since the PS2 era is alarming. They basically made the PS3, 4, and 5 for Americans and Europeans only.

Like a poster mentioned above, Nintendo is the only console manufacturer that still caters to the Japanese market.
Xbox could never find it’s footing there, and PlayStation has been heavily Western focused since the PS3.
