Playstation came out with the :sadcam: after this shyt literally came out of nowhere, even now Sonys handheld market is feeling the hangover effects of its destruction (mostly because of smartphones and tablets) but the DS was the beginning of the end.

I can't speak to the Wiiu however the 3ds is definitely a sleeper hit. It's sells are approaching the same level of the ds and some of the games that have been released recently and are coming out are great. Fire emblem is amazing.
