Chuck D was my favorite MC during the early 90s.
Apocalypse 91 was my first PE album. I copped their whole discography soon after and Nations of Millions was by far my favorite album. This track is a main reason for that.

Public Enemy is forever legendary and Chuck D is an orator who wrote timeless rhymes
filled with a scathing critique of society that unfortunately is still relevant to THIS DAY.

Above the fray.
groundbreaking video

mini film, commercials, and skits DURING a video

"BEEPER TIE"

"just in, this red alert"..............after Red Alert hands here the breaking story

you ain't gonna free him, and you ain't going to see him

My favorite album is Fear of a Black Planet, but It Takes A Nation was ridiculous

still bangs today

One of Public Enemy's best songs. It gets you hyped up every time, and the production on this is insane. Imagine hearing this for the first time in 1988, and you're like, "The fukk is that?! :damn:"

I still can't believe they got actual crackheads to appear in the video. And Flavor was on crack when they were shooting it. :mjlol:
