if you are against players being paid (not even at the rate they should be proportionally to the money they generate for the university) but just off their own image as independent contractors then you are a basically supporting slavery.

i know it gets dicey when we say this, especially in the context of athletics.

no this is not chattel slavery, but supporting people not being paid for their labor while someone else profits is still a form of slavery. the "well they're getting an education" argument doesn't work if every student doesn't get a degree or gets some bullshyt degree either.

this was the most powerful man in college football and he was considered a "moderate" and he sitting there rubbing elbows with ted cruz

Gotta pay to play.

CAC is mad because his bags aren’t big enough anymore and he’s used to being the one getting the biggest bag of them all.

Oh well.
man made 9 figures off being a college football tyrant expecting them to have no power and is mad now because someone has a little money in their pocket and talked back to him one time. they were getting paid before but it was under the table, so they didn't have the power to chirp.

he is a pathetic man. he is not a leader that can galvanize a team. he might be a football play calling genius, but he's still pathetic. he's still a tyrant.

and before anyone comes in here and tries to gotcha me by saying he said he supports NIL at the end of the clip. he clearly doesn't by all of his words and actions.

Top athletes have always gotten paid under table even in high school. NIL which gives them the power to make money officially is a good thing.
exactly, when it's under the table he still has more power over them.

once it's official he can no longer compete or boss mfs around like he wants to.

again proof he's not really a leader, just an a$$hole who had a bunch of great young athletes over a barrel.

pathetic fukk :scust:

Former Alabama coach Nick Saban was college football's wealthiest over his illustrious tenure, earning $124 million in salary alone according to Forbes. His career earnings on the field exceed more than $150 million when you consider the rest of his career, a 51-year stretch in football.

Whats ya point. U know how much Alabama admissions went up during his tenure?

The system is broken. Now u have to pay kids who haven't even proven they can play on the collegiate level.

U should be mire understanding than most, since yall done winning titles
