The quarterback who left the NFL after the 2010 season as the leader in most career passing categories, is among three first-time eligibles to make the list of 15 finalists. Receiver Terrell Owens and guard Alan Faneca, also in their initial year of eligibility, made the cut.

The class of 2016 will be decided on Feb. 6, the day before the Super Bowl, with inductions scheduled for August.

Also making the cut to 15 are Morten Andersen, Steve Atwater, Don Coryell, Terrell Davis, Tony Dungy, Kevin Greene, Marvin Harrison, Joe Jacoby, Edgerrin James, John Lynch, Orlando Pace and Kurt Warner.

Favre, Owens, Faneca among finalists for Hall

I don't how a Kicker made the final 15 but that's an impressive group.

Off the top. I think Edge and T.D won't get in for sure but again impressive 15.

Edge better get in especially now that that fat fukk Jerome Bettis is in. :pacspit:

Most over-rated HB in NFL history. Corey Dillon was a far superior player to Bettis, yet he's not in.

Bettis is a classic case of a stat compiler, combined with being part of one of the most iconic NFL franchises and having a nick-name like "The Bus". The definition of over-rated.

T.O shouldnt make it tbh

He was a good talent that never really won shyt :yeshrug:

Plus by the end of his career he was more a side show than an actual asset to teams he was on
