The next two weeks are like another mini-e3/E3-Fall? Where there are a bunch of gaming showcases that will likely focus on early and some late 2023 games.

Next week

Nippon Ichi Software Showcase//
(disgaea) September 7th 8am pst- The showcase will feature four new game announcements, a handful of updates, and a post-show with an in-depth look at upcoming games launching soon. (This one already leaked, some good stuff in it)

Disney & Marvel Games Showcase D23// September 9th 4pm est- The digital showcase will feature incredible new content from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Games. In addition to all-new announcements, fans can expect new reveals from titles including Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and LEGO® Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, as well as a sneak peek at an upcoming Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media. (Prob no Sony games)

Ubisoft Forward// September 10th 3pm est- So this one should be interesting. So far only Assassins Creed Mirage has been announced to be at the show but Ubisoft have a lot in the pipeline. They have Avatar Skies of Pandora, Beyond Good & Evil 2, The next Assassins Creed Series, Their new Multiplayer game, The Division Heartland, Prince of Persia remake, etc.

Week After

Nintendo Direct (rumored) -
This one is more than likely happening sometime next week, theres a lot of smoke about a Wind Waker and Twilight Princess Remaster (port) being announced soon for Switch. This might also be where nintendo decides to officially announced the title for Breath of The Wild 2 and show off gameplay. They didn’t have a dedicated first party show this summer so this is likely where they give an update on the first half of 2023 games like they did last year.

Tokyo Game Show// September 15-19th - The event, which runs from September 15-19 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba City, will host more than 30 broadcasts from exhibitors including Sega, miHoYo, Capcom, Square Enix, and Konami. They are bringing out the big guns here, new Street Fighter 6 gameplay and reveals, FF16, FF7 Rebirth, Forspoken demo, Resident Evil 4 Remake trailer, PSVR2 will be playable, rumored Silent Hill Remake (just leaked), MMBN, etc

Call of Duty Next// September 15th-
What’s Next? This is an era-defining franchise event showcasing the immediate future of Call of Duty, broadcast on September 15, 2022. Presented by Infinity Ward, and featuring robust information drops detailing innovations, live gameplay, and a whole lot more, expect to learn the following:

  • What the imminent future of Call of Duty will look like, including many more details regarding Modern Warfare II, information on the next Call of Duty®: Warzone™, and more on the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone (also known as Project Aurora).
  • A full Modern Warfare II Multiplayer reveal.
  • A multitude of your favorite streamers at the event, playing the games in real time.
  • [[REDACTED]] information and surprises!
And….then theres the possibility for a Playstation showcase as a couple things have already leaked from it (god of war information, Helldivers 2 trailer) if its happening expect the week of september 15th (the week after next) as they usually do announcements the week before. Not really sure what to expect out of PSVR2 info, GoWR info, and possibly Spider-man 2.

I'm still waiting on Sony announcing something, anything. It's already getting cold again and still Sony hasn't announced anything... Are they actually doing good? What's going on over there? Took Bungie and went off into the wind.

The Last of Us Part 1 Remake just dropped
GOW coming in November

Forspoken is early 2023
FF16 is next year, I assume Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac is next year as well.
PSVR 2 will be a big focus for them
Sucker Punch is working on GOT2 most likely, another project
Naughty Dog is probably doing LOU Factions, another project
Sony Bend is doing a new IP I believe.
