Polestar's O2 Concept Previews an Open-Topped Future

Polestar had a great car before it had an identity. The brand opened with the 1, a hybrid grand tourer that would have been the greatest Volvo of a generation in a different life. That was a limited-run car, a hybrid, and a car that still shared a distinct amount of Volvo DNA, but Polestar has not abandoned that grand touring idea. It build on the concept with the Precept, a four-door all-electric GT concept that will become the brand's Polestar 5. Now, it takes the next step: A true two-door grand tourer, in this case a hardtop convertible that shares a platform and design language with the 5. This is the Polestar O2.

So basically the drone is a part of the vehicle... it emerges from the back and basically follows you. Like Tails the Hedgehog.



I love trinkets and gogo gadgets... so that drone being nut-busted from it's own hangar in the deck lid is fukkin' metimucious to the noggin.
