New Japan Presents: Wrestling Dontaku 2017 (5/3)

Tonight, at the asscrack of 1 AM on the West Coast, Wrestling Dontaku will be broadcast live from Fukuoka, Japan.

In his first singles match in New Japan since WK11, @stro 's personal favorite Cody Rhodes will be facing David Finlay.

Kenny Omega is going up against Tomohiro Ishii to get his win back after being eliminated in the first round of New Japan Cup by Ishii in what was probably the best match of Round 1.

And the main event will feature the wrestler of the year so far, Kazuchika Okada vs. Bad Luck Fale for the IWGP Heavyweight championship.

Amazing, but will get lost in the shuffle of great NJPW matches due to its meandering first half. The last half was typical NJPW MOTYC type work though.
