Okada/Naito rematch :ohlawd:

Some other good looking matches too, picking Naito to win it. Couple of bums in there too, fukk a Marufuji :hmm:, but that's always the way. Looks stronger than recent years though.

-Naito vs Nakamura
-Goto vs Nakamura

Nak has been killing it recently, the Naito match has serious potential.

Korakuen Hall fans are gonna make sure that they have a great atmosphere so it's gonna be AT LEAST very fun to watch. They may not have an "epic" style of match, but I think it will be great regardless

Last year, Korakuen made Toru fukking Yano look like a star and were a huge part in making his match against Tanahashi a G-1 classic.

They should do something like this in the United States, have top wrestlers from all/most promotions come together and do a tournament

Might just save this dieing sport :wow:

Marufuji a bum? :usure: There are at least 4 people in this tournament that legitimately suck or are too broken down to have good matches anymore (Yujiro :scusthov:, Lance Archer :scusthov:) and you pick Marufuji to hate on?

Marufuji's a dark horse to get to the finals, see as he has lingering heat with Nakamura from their tag bout at WrestleKingdom. At worst, they'll be interacting in a tag at some point during the tournament.

I think that you need to repeat this, TORU fukkING YANO, one of the worst wrestlers on that roster, got a title feud (and his match was essentially in his home court in Osaka) off the G1 last year. Match wasn't that bad either.

Naito's got this, I figure, since he's been getting booked weirdly for my tastes. I think this will start his ascension in earnest.

Can't stand Maru and his ridiculous move set/goofy no selling, hated him for years :yeshrug: I think the others you mentioned suck as well though.

Dark Horse for me is Anderson, won't win but could make the final with the push he's been getting.

Maru is fine once you take his matches for what they are. He can still have a fun spotfest from time to time.

NOT looking forward for his match against KENTA at Sumo Hall though :scusthov:

:what: The fukk? Is NOAH even going to draw half a house there?

On topic, the Anderson push in NJPW is one of the few weird things going on in wrestling that has been legitimately pretty good. I don't think that he'll make the finals (I said Marufuji because he and Nakamura are in different blocks), but he'll definitely make a good show of himself.
