New Headphones?

Just broke my Audio-Technicas m50x it appears.

Should i just get another set of these or is there better options? I'm clueless lol

Is there a big difference between closed and semi closed headphones?

For making beats Semi-Closed are the best.
Closed are good for recording artist's in the booth. (Im a noob i know)

Open-back are better than closed backed headphones for beats. Semi-Closed is the best for beatmaking.

DT-990 doesn't have a lot of mids.
DT-880 does have that mid-range
