I know a lot of heads deem 97 as the year of shiny suits and over commercial records, but a lot of great albums/music came out. In retrospect, it was definitely an exciting year.

Right... to me, you could get a lil' bit of everything that year. Of course you had your Puff n Mase, but you could still hear a Premo joint on the radio, you still had a lot of fanfare for the Rakim return, shyt like that... you had rappers who were still on the middle of the road, makin' radio joints and street hits...
