here's a new beat I recently just put together..ive actually had the sample sitting there for 2 years and never came back to it....let me hear the feedback..I didnt really organize it sonically yet but this gives a pretty good idea of what It'll sound like....

The beat was sounding interesting until the 0'40" mark, and then you switched up...

Then it started sounding interesting again at the 1'26" mark...

I think there are about three different beats going on at the same time...

In my opinion, you trying to be too "complex" The first 40 seconds is a beat on it's own, just find a nice heavy drum loop, and you have a nice boom bap type beat...

Then I love the baseline at 1'26" that could be a beat on it's own if you just add some nice drums, it reminds me of "deep cover" by Snoop and Dr Dre...

Just my opinion, I hate "complex" beats...
