If we're supposed to be accepting of and not question the transgendered movement, then I'm fully supporting the transracial movement. :manny:

I mean, lesbihonest, ain't too many people gonna sign up to be black in America, she wanna be down, then come on :ehh:

shyt many black folks don't want to be down with black americans...:francis:

If her intentions are pure then I see no problem. Though how can I know another person's mindset?

Thing is, I want black authors to get the same opportunities to make their own books about similar and different subject matter. Whether fiction or nonfiction.

If she's truly trying to bring awareness and appreciation of black women and black hair then cool. I would hope she's able to use her reach to actually help put black authors on and get children interested and invested in reading.

I'm not sure what her actual goal is but taking this at face value, it's dope to see more books about appreciation of black hair.
