i was watchin' it a few nights ago for the 1st time in a long time and this shyt has held up pretty good

i remember when it came out bein' disappointed that chris tucker didn't come back so it threw the whole movie off to me but now i appreciate it a lot more than i did back in the day :obama:

i mean, that's a given. no way in the world was this shyt gon be better than the original. i don't even think with chris tucker they would've been able to come close to the original so maybe it worked out in the end just bringin' in someone new and turnin' a new page

Yeah the film definitely still worked. Friday after next was funny too but was insanely short (or felt that way)

I think it was just as funny in a different way.

Frday relied on alot of quotables from Chris Tucker. It was low hanging fruit comedy that everybody could get, though it was funny.

In retrospect, Next Friday had alot more subtle comedy. It wasn't as loud &over the top comedy like Friday, but still funny IMO
