i only really like the first two and the 5th one. The franchise succeeded because the first film was pretty god damn good and viewers fell in love with the cast of characters. the characters and their respective actors is what kept the franchise going.

I gotta be honest. While it's one of my favorite franchises and I have seen all of them countless times, if you didn't grow up with the series watching them now won't be the same. They will still be very enjoyable but you won't have the same attachment.

Cover price is 100. It'll probably be 50 at the lowest on release date. Might just cop 1-6 and wait til the 7th is under 10.

Why? Even if you're not into the fantasy genre, the Lord of the Rings movies are arguably the best movies ever made in terms of action and production. Gotta open yourself up to it
