depends on if you're into rpg games. if so then yes i recommend it. get the fallout 3 game of the year edition so you get all the dlcs.

im huge into fps

you might enjoy it then.

I play Fallout and Elder Scrolls in 3rd person personally though.

It looks like an fps, but it still has random hit chance like D&D and shyt like that. you can miss, a lot and it sucks sometimes.

Im playing it now. I don't remember it being so boring. I must have been smoking a lot of weed when I played this the first time.

Well, if you're into fps then skipp fallout 1 and 2 (which are awesome nevertheless) and go with fallout 3, definitely with all the dlcs. Get ready for about 150 hours of gametime, if you plan to do the sidequests and believe me, you'd want to do them! New Vegas is also great, however, it has a different feel than F3. And the price on both is probably really nice.

New Vegas is way better than fallout 3, which I thought sucked. It's very open ended, giving you multiple paths to complete the storyline, and it doesn't rob you at the end the way fallout 3 did (without spoiling shyt). You can be a real badass in fallout new Vegas. If you're into classic isometric RPGs, give the first two installments a go at it, too. They are more traditional, but the games are very fun and extremely rewarding if you like non-linear role playing. IMO, I would avoid fallout 3, but that's just me. It plays too much like oblivion, which is to be expected, since it's from Bethesda. New Vegas uses the same engine, but the gameplay is a lot better.

If you're playing on a PC you're gonna :eat: with the amount of mods out there, adds countless hours and items/lands/quests/perks to the game. There's even a mod for New Vegas that combines Fallout 3 into it :mjpls:
