Netflix lands deal for Turner and Warner Bros. TV series beginning in March

It looks like Netflix users in the US will soon have quite a few new TV series to choose from as they wait for Arrested Development to make its big return in May. The company announced today that it's struck a multi-year deal with Turner Broadcasting and the Warner Bros. Television Group that will see a variety of animated and live-action series from the Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Animation, Adult Swim and TNT be made available for streaming. That includes the likes of Adventure Time, Ben 10, the Green Lantern animated series, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and TNT's Dallas, the last of which is an exclusive deal that begins in January of 2014 -- all the other series will be available starting March 30th.

Beginning March 30, 2013, complete past seasons of such great Cartoon Network shows as Adventure Time, Ben 10, Regular Show, Johnny Bravo, Warner Bros. Animation's Green Lantern will become available on the popular "Just for Kids" section of the world's leading Internet TV subscription service.

At the same time, Adult Swim shows, such as Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sony Pictures Television's The Boondocks and the Emmyยฎ-winning Childrens Hospital from WBTVG's Studio 2.0, will be made available.

Netflix keeps getting better... I guess

It's like, I have The Boondocks dvds already and the rest is just whatever. Only big things Netflix could do is get the premium network shows and that'll never happen cause those channels wanna sell the season DVDs and promote their own streaming services.

I appreciate that Robot Chicken gets to be on netflix. Never really got the chance to watch much of the show and it prevents me from downloading all dem seasons.

I hardly use Netflix, but I can't complain about more shyt that I'm not gonna watch.

:russ:

I have all the Boondocks also, but I'll check out Aqua Teen as I haven't watched that shyt in years. I'm a just start using Netflix just to have something playing in the background like cable TV.

Netflix is probably my favorite media outlet. At first I just peeped it if I was waiting at an airport or something but since I got the smart TV my shyt stays on Netflix. Ultimate Spider Man, Avengers EMH, Super Hero Squad, Breaking Bad, American Gangster, it just goes on and on. I can believe shyt is only $8/month. Oh, got that Hulu Plus too. I watch it less, but I find it to be a great suppliment (seems like Hulu has newer shows and Netflix is older stuff).

Hulu Plus has commercials though.

True. Prolly why I watch it less, but for instance: Key and Peele is on there and I am pretty sure it's only a week behind the actual air date. Something like that won't get to Netflix for months (just guessing really). Supplemental. Different focus.
