Ursula M. Burns (born September 20, 1958) is an American businesswoman. Burns is renowned for her tenure as the
CEO of Xerox, serving from 2009 to 2016, making her the first
black woman to lead a
Fortune 500 company. She also holds the distinction of being the first woman to follow another as the head of a Fortune 500 company.

Chairman at
Xerox from 2010 to 2017.

Burns is also known for serving on the
board of directors of multiple large American companies, including
Uber,
American Express, and
ExxonMobil. She was the chairperson and CEO of
VEON from late 2018 to early 2020, and the Chairwoman of
Teneo.
President Barack Obama also entrusted Burns with leading the
White House national program on
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) from 2009 to 2016.

President's Export Council from 2015 to 2016, following her role as
Vice Chair from 2010 to 2015.

businessperson and marketing executive who was the chief marketing officer (CMO) at
Netflix. Previously, she served as CMO at
Endeavor, and
chief brand officer (CBO) at
Uber until June 2018. Saint John was also a marketing executive at
Apple Music until June 2017, after joining the company in its acquisition of
Beats Music. From 2005 until 2014 she worked at
PepsiCo, eventually serving as the head of music and
entertainment marketing. In May 2021, she was named among the Top 50 Most Influential Female Leaders in Africa within the corporate and business sphere by Leading Ladies Africa.
