this shyt is timeless, as much of a banger today as it was when it dropped. obviously, the neptunes production is no small part of the reason, but nelly’s sing song rap style flawlessly meshes with the sonic backdrop.

I think it’s a top 10 club banger.

Yeah Im in NYC and remember getting a mix tape back in June 2000 and seeing “Nelly - Hot shyt”. I thought it was gonna be something corny. A dude named Nelly? It turned out to be fire and all over tv in a few weeks. I don’t think it got as much radio play here as it should have.
