Someone tagged my high school friend (who happens to be white) in this video on Facebook. I watched it just to give her the benefit of the doubt- but after seeing her write "LOL" under it, and laugh at the names they used - I deleted her as a friend.



I'm so over people who pretend white privilege is not a thing. Granted, the person in the original video he's commenting on looks foolish with that hair and may have been reaching a bit with his statements- it's still complete fukkery to choose to remain oblivious and pretend white privilege is really class privilege. It's even more irritating that he uploaded it to a platform where whites who enjoy their privilege, like to hang out, and can share and repost to make themselves feel better.

A lot of this stuff is just blissfully ignorant under the guises of differing, albeit lukewarm perspective that all boils down to ad revenue at the end of the day.
