So I'm bout to get back in it pretty heavy. I'm a big dude and I always have been. I haven't been faithful in the gym on some 5 times a week type shyt since October, but I've always had excellent muscle memory and once I get in it, I'm in it. I'm looking to try some new supps though. Get a different pre-workout. A different post-workout. See what kinda shyt I can get. I was using C4 as pre-workout for most of last year. Also some shyt named intensity and NOxplode. Post workout supps, I'd pretty much get whatever type of protein I could get my hands on.

I know I'll need to get a specific type. I'm at 6'0 235 rite now. Bout 22-23% body fat. So I'm looking to cut for the most part and get under 14-15 before the summer is up. I've already got my food and nutrition right, and I've made sure to have that on point for a good 2 weeksish before I'm getting back in to the gym. Need some nice protein for osmeone looking to get leaner. All my gym knowledge seems to be gone since leavin my job at the gym, and I dunno what the new products out there are.

Help a nikka out. fukk kinda shyt be out there. Don't need help with the workouts or anything. Just wanna know whats new on the market.

edit: Also, don't give a fukk about taste. It can taste like an a$$hole. Long as it gets the job done, dont give a fukk.

supplements are severely overrated especially if you're cutting weight.

I cut from 235 to 180 over the past year while maintaining my strength without even using creatine or protein shakes.

You're diet is the most important thing. You're diet must be ON POINT. Figure out your maintenance calories (Calorie Calculator - Daily Caloric Needs) then subject 500 calories from that (or 1000 if you have the discipline). The best protein you can get doesn't come from any protein powder. It comes from from like chicken, turkey, etc. These foods will not only satisfy your protein requirements but will also keep you FULL. Which is important when you are in a caloric deficit.

The only supplement I can recommend is a popping a caffeine pill before you workout for energy, taking fish oil, and a one a day vitamin everyday.

235? fukk. I mean, my diet is legit. I've got all sorts of help with my diet already, and I know what to eat, but if you want to lay down more or less exactly what you did to get down like that, it'd be appreciated. I don't have any specific diet besides fish, chicken, ground turkey, complex carbs. I'd like to be able to follow what the fukk you went to. Not trying to get to 185 because my body isn't built like that. But if I got down to like 200 by the end of the year, I would be absolutely fukking shredded.

Diet is all about mathematics. Calories In vs. Calories Out. Make sure you're expending less calories than you're taking in every day and be consistent. Be precise. Weight out food portions to make sure you are doing it right and use something like myfitnesspal.com to log everything. If u don't do this you are likely to fail because EVERYONE mis guesstimates how much they are actually eating.
